Privacy
This site is designed to collect as little as possible. Here is exactly what happens when you visit it.
Who is responsible
Quota Zero Media House is a project of Nicolò Blasi, Trieste, Italy (VAT IT01444130320). For any privacy request write to info@nicoloblasiphotography.com.
No cookies, no advertising
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or third-party tracking tools. Fonts, scripts and images are served from this site, with one exception: film previews and stills from YouTube (see below).
Visit statistics
To understand which pages and films are seen, the site counts page views and a few actions (opening a film, clicking "Apply", sending the contact form, downloading press material). Only daily totals per page are stored: no cookies, no identifiers and no IP addresses. Known bots and browsers with "Do Not Track" enabled are not counted. To prevent abuse, a short-lived, anonymised key derived from your IP address (it changes every day and cannot be traced back to you) is kept for up to one hour.
Videos and previews
Our films are hosted on YouTube. Several parts of the site play short, muted excerpts of them automatically: the "Coming up" section on the home page, the project cards, the services page and the opening of film pages. To have them ready when you get there, the player starts loading shortly before the section scrolls into view. Pages also load still frames of the films from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com) and prepare a connection to YouTube in advance.
In all these cases your browser contacts Google (youtube-nocookie.com, the privacy-enhanced YouTube domain, youtube.com and i.ytimg.com), which receives technical data such as your IP address and browser details, and may store information on your device when a video plays, under Google's privacy policy. Where a project has a short clip hosted on this site, that clip is used instead of YouTube. The full film loads only when you press play. If your device asks for reduced motion, previews are not loaded.
Contact form
When you send the contact form, your name, email, optional company and message are sent to our server, stored in a protected area and forwarded to us by email, so that we can reply. We use them only for that conversation and delete them once they are no longer needed. The same anonymised, short-lived key described above is used to block spam.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider keeps technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. They are not used to profile visitors.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
