Background
How it started
What began as instinct slowly turned into a more disciplined visual practice: first the
street, then commissioned work, then sport and fast-moving environments where timing,
pressure and atmosphere matter at the same time.
The first camera
It started almost by accident, with an old Panasonic found at home and the urge to see what
could happen by pressing a single button. The first steps were improvised, imperfect and
instinctive, but already pointed in one direction.
Early experiences came from the street and from public events, learning in real situations
where timing mattered more than perfection.
From street to sport
After the first real camera, the work became more focused: street photography, first jobs
for small businesses, early video work, then a gradual move toward sport photography.
That shift changed everything. Sport brought intensity, pressure, emotion and the need for a
sharper, more disciplined visual language.
How it works today
Over time the process evolved beyond simply taking pictures. Technique, workflow, editing
and delivery became part of the same craft, leading to collaborations with important brands
and international events.
Today Nicolò Blasi Photography also works as a wider network of photographers and
videomakers specialised in dynamic activities and fast-paced productions.
